Traffic
I am working on a freelance project, so spending a lot of time sitting at my desk in the office upstairs, glancing out at the neighborhood periodically. Today I observed a “perfect storm” of car traffic. First, the street’s unexpectedly high college kid population has all come home for the summer, along with their cars, which now line the street. Friday is lawn maintenance day for many people, so there were many pickups with trailers behind them parked as well. There were more delivery trucks than usual; someone even had a tree delivered. There was a garage sale two houses down, and it had LOADS of customers. A charter bus (!) of tourists (?) drove by. And just now, two huge Asplundh tree maintenance trucks went by, the kind with the giant chippers on the back. At least it wasn’t garbage day!
