Ed and I have started going through closets, bookcases, cabinets, etc., throwing things out, packing things in boxes to take to Ed’s Dallas apartment, and recycling where possible. I am glad I did the garage sale with Sammy and Becky last spring. I have gotten rid of a lot, but there are some things I’m not sure about. Cassette tapes? I never listen to them, but some of them are unavailable as CDs. I have a lot of software and technical books that are out of date, but it’s possible I could need them for some future job. That will probably go, though.

Our painters continue to delay painting the house. Yesterday our neighbors were having a christening party, so the painters said they would come today instead. They didn’t, and it’s supposed to rain this week. I want to put the Christmas lights up! And do my winter landscaping! Hopefully it will be done by Christmas.
