Househunting
We made a hastily planned trip up to Dallas to look at houses this weekend. I feel better now about our chances of finding a house I like. We spent a lot of time in the Munger Place Historic District, which is a neighborhood a little like the Heights, not as expensive as Swiss Avenue, but it still has some great old houses.
Here are a few of the houses we saw:
Some of these are obviously too expensive, but of those one or two would be worth a fortune with a little work because of the lot size or other features. Not all of them are in the Munger Place neighborhood (which is small), but all are in the East Dallas area. This is close to White Rock Lake and downtown.
One thing I do like about Dallas is it has some hills! Not huge ones, but enough to make things interesting. I miss hills. It also has tornados, so it may be sort of a wash.
