Ed and I are in Amarillo, Texas tonight. It is the first time in the Panhandle for either of us. Also our first time on old route 66, where we are having dinner.
I’ve decided that a good birthday tradition from now on would be to visit someplace I’ve never been before.
Oh, my existing birthday tradition, that the weather on my birthday is ALWAYS nice, no matter where I am, held true this year despite the forecast. We went to sleep last night in muggy thunderstorming conditions, but today was cool, dry, and mostly sunny. I have the best birthdate ever!
