Last weekend we took Dewey on his first vacation, to Galveston. I won't pretend that he enjoyed the car trip down, but he got used to it. He also got used to living in a new house after awhile. We wanted to take him to the beach, but it was very cold and windy and we knew he would hate it, so this shot taken on the way home is the closest we got to a beach photo. He prefers to ride in my lap (the only time he's ever sat in my lap) and look out the window, but he still shook most of the way.

We had a nice long weekend, staying in Mike and Carla's beach rental. We rode bikes on the beach, beachcombed, and went for a long drive down the coast. Very relaxing.
