Ed planned a surprise trip for last weekend. He wouldn't even tell me where we were going, except that we were driving (my car). On Tuesday he spoiled the surprise by asking where the Austin guide book was. But on the turn from I-10 toward Austin, he suddenly swerved back onto I-10. So anyway, we had a very fun weekend in San Antonio. We stayed at The Havana Riverwalk Inn (highly recommended), and we did not take Dewey this time.

I'll post more pictures over the next few days. San Antonio was having a Cow Parade. At left is "Dairy Crockett" at, you guessed it, the Alamo!
