Syracuse made it to the Final Four, so we made an impromptu trip to New Orleans. We didn't have tickets to the game, but Ed wanted to celebrate with the fans. The French Quarter was much wilder this time than it was for Jazz Fest. A different (and younger) crowd I guess.

New Orleans is a five hour drive from Houston, but we were late arriving Friday due to construction. Saturday we did a little sightseeing, but weren't able to fit in that much because we (Ed) wanted to have an early dinner and find a good place to watch the game. That was the reason for the trip, after all. We'll go back to do more tourist things another time.

Syracuse won the game, by the way, and is looking great in the final tonight.
