I got talked into it again. On Saturday we went to the Houston SPCA and adopted a two pound, two-month-old kitten. She is part red-point Siamese, but mostly mutt. Extremely purry and cuddly, and at the same time extremely playful. She doesn't have a name yet, but we are taking suggestions.

We've had her home since Monday night, but she is confined to the guest room and guest bath for awhile. Dewey knows that something is in there, but he has stopped worrying about it. We will let her out after she sees the vet on Monday.

Please excuse the picture, it is very difficult to take a picture of a running kitten with a cheap flash and have it look good (especially the eyes). It did give me a chance to try a blur effect that Linda showed me, though.
