We are in that time of year where it is typical to have rain everyday. If not all day, then at least in the afternoon. Sometimes we go a few days without rain, but not often. Surprisingly, I am actually getting used to the heat and humidity here. Or at least learning to work around it.

Luckily with the storms I have been able to fit in a swim a couple times this week. We joined the YMCA near my office (where Erica went to teen camp for a few years). They have a big outdoor pool with plenty of lanes for lap swimming, open until 9PM weekdays during the summer. Last night I swam for over an hour, and it felt good. I've been meeting Ed and Erica on the other days for exercise and weight machines. It works out great to go from work to the Y, since by the time I'm done the traffic is negligible.
