Yesterday Ed and I went to the Tour Championship at Champions Golf Club, north of Houston. Cameras were not allowed at the event, and they mean business, so this is a picture of another event where cameras were not allowed, Hamell on Trial opening for Ani DiFranco.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the tournament. Really. It was fun to chase around the golf course to see all the famous players play. Much better than sitting in bleachers. My favorite part was when Jonathan Kaye hit a ball into the pocket of a lady's jacket (she was smart enough to duck, but it still made a really loud noise). They cleared the area of spectators except for the woman. They made her sit there until the rules offical arrived in a cart to decide what Kaye could do. They allowed him to fish the ball out of her pocket and take a drop.

So now I've seen Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Davis Love III, Vijay Singh, and the winner (his first time), Chad Campbell, along with a lot of other famous golfers.
