Our Thanksgiving was very nice. We had Cream of Butternut Squash & Apple Soup, Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes with Roasted Garlic, Cranberries, Praline Sweet Potatoes, Turkey with Mushroom Stuffing, Savory Fall Vegetables, Popovers and Pumpkin Cheesecake. I will add links to the recipes as I add the recipes to batterman.org. The popovers were the big hit. I didn't even know what they were - turns out they're like Yorkshire pudding muffins. Very easy and good.

The other Thanksgiving hit was getting out my enviable collection of Christmas DVDs and toys, and playing with them with Drewe and Laura.

The weekend, surpisingly, was beautiful, so we got our Christmas lights up and I did some long overdue garden chores (transplanting, bulb planting and bed exanding).
