This one is from our trip to San Antonio last week. After a nice dinner al fresco at Little Rhein Steak House, we walked along the river walk to the Alamo. I'm sure everyone is envious of the way we whoop it up, smoking cigars and wearing coonskin hats in front of the Cradle of Texas Liberty and all.

The next day we toured the Alamo, as Erica had only seen the outside and now that she's studied it in school, was anxious to see the inside. She knew most of the pertinent facts, except for Davy's first name!

For those interested, there was a very good documentary on the History Channel this month that will probably be repeated eventually: Remember the Alamo. Good to watch before you visit. Which you will.
