We are coming to the end of over two weeks of family visits, and it's hard to remember everything we've done. Last week Mom and Dad were here and we hit the rodeo, San Antonio, and the Antique Rose Emporium. Then we headed to Galveston where we had a reunion with Linda, Nico and Aidan. It was a windy weekend, but that made for spectacular kayaking, so we didn't mind. After Mom and Dad headed back to Pittsburgh, the rest of us meandered back to Houston via a 5 1/2 hour birdwatching trip that started with the unusually windy Bolivar Ferry, which Nico and Aidan particularly enjoyed (more than the rest of the trip).

This week has been kids week, so we've visited the zoo, rode the pedal boats at Hermann Park, toured the Cockerell Butterfly Center and the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and Space Center Houston.
