Last summer I wrote about the summers here and how it rains almost every afternoon, and that I was actually getting used to the heat and the humidity. This year somehow I have no patience for it. I have a lot of outdoor projects to finish, and it's miserable out there.

I need to finish painting the west wall of the garage today, but right now it's in full sun, and this afternoon rain is (naturally) predicted. It's been half done for two weeks now, and looks stupid. We are painting it Benjamin Moore Autumn Bronze.

We've been spending a lot of time getting ready for Erica, who arrives a week from Tuesday. We painted her room and rearranged the furniture, and cleared out the closet and dressers. Now everything is stacked on our bedroom floor while we decide what to do with it for the next year+.
