Erica and I took a three-day trip to Colorado Springs last week for her to play in a qualifier for the USGA Women's Amateur. We both loved Colorado, and despite the ungodly amount of time it takes to play golf, got to do a bit of sightseeing. I visited the Air Force Academy while she had her practice round, and together we took the cog railway up Pike's Peak, shopped the tourist traps in Manitou Springs, hiked and bouldered around Garden of the Gods, visited a living history ranch, and had several great meals at the Broadmoor, where the tournament was. I do plan to post more pictures, and generally increase my posting frequency so we have a nice record of her time here.
