Following is a list of all transportation permutations we have used in the last two weeks with Erica in school.

1. Ed takes Erica to school. She gets a ride from her coach to the golf course after, and Ed picks her up at 3:40 because it is an "A" day (day one).
2. Erica drives Ed's car to school, but does not have a parking space, so after frantic phone calls and general panicking, parks in River Oaks in a not quite legal place and is late to school. Ed takes the bus. Because Erica is working after school, by four o'clock, both of our vehicles are within 50 yards of each other at the Galleria (day two).
3. I drop Erica off at school on my way to work. I pick her up afterward and bring her back to my office (it's a "B" day), where she does homework until it's time for her to walk over to work. I go to the gym and pick her up after work on my way back. Ed finishes a long day of jury duty, and we meet him for dinner at Houston's.
4. Erica drives Ed's car to work. She has discovered that a nearby church allows the kids to park in it's lot. Ed takes the bus. Ed takes the wrong bus home, so I pick him up in North Houston.
5. Repeat of above, except this time I pick him up in Garden Oaks.
6. I drop Erica off at school. I pick her up at 1:30 because it is a "B" day and drive her to Memorial Park for golf practice, then go back to work. Ed picks her up after practice, and we all wind up at the Y.
7. Erica drives Ed's car to school. She has arranged with a friend to pick her up at the church and drive her the two blocks to school. I leave work early to pick Erica up at home, then pick Ed up so we can go to a movie (Garden State).
8. Erica drives Ed's car to school. Ed takes the bus. I pick him up after work and drive us both to the Y.
9. Erica drops me off at work in my car on her way to school. She and Ed both start to pick me up after work, but we get that worked out before it's too late.
10. Erica drives to school, but gets hit by a guy backing out of his driveway before she gets out of our neighborhood. I pick her up, give her my car, collect the damaged car, and work from home. Ed takes the bus (today).

Things should get more interesting from here.
