My annual recycling of this photo for Linda's birthday has now officially become a tradition. It's just so darn cute! Have a great birthday, maybe a little bananas & spaghetti for dinner?

After a month of drought, we are now getting rain every day. I actually got trapped by flash flooding one day last week, which was terrible because I was driving home from work early sick with a stomach bug. Luckily I don't take any chances here with rising water, and luckily I have an SUV which is not only a little harder to flood, but is able to easily clambor over median, curbs and sidewalks to get to high ground. I saw many flooded cars that day, though.
